Security and privacy
Your school’s records are yours. We keep them safe.
Fees, salaries and children’s details are sensitive. Klaska is built so that the right people see the right things, and nothing is lost or changed quietly.

Do teachers and parents need to download an app?
No. Klaska opens in the browser on any Android phone, iPhone or laptop. Staff sign in with their own account, and parents open a private link the school sends them.
What happens when there is no network?
Teachers can still take the register. It is saved on the phone and sent to the school as soon as the phone reconnects, with nothing lost and nothing entered twice.
We already keep records in Excel or another software. Do we start again?
No. We move your pupils, classes, parents and fee balances across for you during setup. You can also upload a spreadsheet yourself at any time.
Who can see fees and salaries?
Only the owner and bursar can record payments and see salaries. The principal and office can look up a family’s balance. Teachers see their own classes, registers and results, and never see fees or payroll. Each parent sees only their own children.
How long does it take to get started?
Most schools are set up within two weeks. We do the setup with you, train your staff in a short session at the school, and stay on call while you run it alongside your old way of working.
What does it cost?
The first term is free for founding schools. After that, the price is agreed with you in writing before the free term ends and stays fixed for two years. You never pay for something you did not agree to.
Who owns our data?
Your school does. You can download your records at any time, and we sign a data processing agreement with every school under the Nigeria Data Protection Act.
